The master warning light (!) has been coming on for the past few days after I've been driving for 10+ minutes. It only stays on for a couple of minutes. Pattern repeats itself on my way home. None of the lower warning lights illuminate. Adrian's book doesn't offer any suggestions. Clue - first happened after an oil change overfill (my regular mechanic) on Monday. Porsche dealer adjusted oil level and check over the car - no problems detected - car runs great. Any ideas?

Have you checked that all the other warning lights function correctly?

+1 - Confirm all of your warning lights light up. Also, do you have access to a Hammer or Scantool? Maybe a quick check for error codes.
