I think the plywood storage bin weighs as much, if not more than the rear seats. According to RSamerica.net the bins weigh 18 lbs., the seats I pulled out of my car didn't weight that much. (haven't removed seat belt assembly)

The wing also weighs a lot more than the motorized spoiler...

I don't think a regular C2 weighs much more (if any) than a RSA? Especially since most RSAs came with sunroofs, radios, and AC.
Cool cars none the less! Part of the Porsche mystique for sure.

For that mileage, reserve will be $55K+.... I have been tracking the RSA in classifieds since - well, since they first came out! So many have been tracked that it is rare to find one unmolested with relatively low miles (less than 30k)... Interested to see the sales price.

What happened with the sale.
Did it sell? Where did it end bid? Crazy Money. They are nothing special on collectability, but there were only 701 made. Ive seen at least 10 wrecked on the track. Not many low miles untracked ones left.
Combine that with the fact that 1992 and 1993 were some of Porsche's leanest production years. RSA is the last non power steering 911. 964s are a pretty good mix of older 911 rawness, non OBD2, with a decent suspension to work with. I could see where collectors looking to buy something from 911 midlife could find it attractive.
3.6s and G-50s are already getting dear. There also seems to be an awfull lot of C2s and C4s getting parted out. I got my 200K mile doctor driven, clean, fully functional, 92 C4 for $10,500. Unless you get lucky and find a buyer, or your car is a low mileage certified virgin, its tough getting what its is worth. The market has been dead for a few years now, but relative scarcity should eventually work in our favor.
