Default Air ducts - what to do with the wires

Hi all
Just had delivered some Air ducts to replace the front fog lights.
Just wondered what to do with the wires for the fog lights? do I just tape them up?
Don't these have to be on before the rear one will come on?

Just tape/ cable tie them up (without the bulbs obviously)

No they don't need to be on, but you do need to pull the interior switch for the fronts to activate the rear.

could this be by-passed and turn the rears on without needing to activate the fronts first?

Lee, did mine last weekend, looks great. I tucked mine in place behind the corner repeaters, cable tied them in.

Ps, not sure what kind of ducts you've got, mine were from Design 911. I countersunk the holes and then fitted a screw cap to hide the head if the screw, looks great. Also cut the plastic behind the ducts, careful doing this especially on the passenger side, there's some pipes reasonably close behind, yo should be fine though. And finally, I got some mesh ( matches the grille below) and attached to the back of the ducts.

Great mod, looks factory original

If it'll help, I did a DIY guide for the brake ducts here: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...t-install.html

^^ that is the excellent guide that i used.

Could you do something so the front switch isn't needed? Possibly Just a different relay but i didn't find a link to one so left it in the car for know (does the RS have a different relay). Would seem odd with one missing and a blanking plug though.

Cheers guys and especially for the link to your post Babalouie.
Can I ask, when you cut the back off to allow the air to cool the oil / AC compressor, did you add any pipe work or is it just direct to there?
Also I don't know what type the ducts are, I bought them off ebay. may try and get some pics on but
they do have 2 threaded bolts sticking out. one at 90 degrees pointing backwards and one coming from the side.

There already is ducting of a sort behind there, to funnel air from the bumper opening to the oil cooler/condensor, so after you make the hole in the bumper it isn't necessary to do anything more.
