Some pics from earlier on this week on the straightening bench.
The guys have done an amazing job! All back into place without any issues or part exchange!
More pics to follow once the detail work has been done.

At this rate you'll be ready before we are for Spa next year!

Good work and another exciting project to follow...subscribed.

"I used a leak down tester from Sealey. The dial is calibrated as 20% = no leak. Hence all cilinders are ok at 20% with equal readings" Not sure how the test was performed but it appears there's some sorta creative "relative" test being performed or you're relying on the dial markings which is OK for Detroit iron but "absolute" readings should be 10X less.

I attached the instructions for the tool used.
Using another brand leak down tester, I came to the same results.
Using the Sealey on other engines, it confirmed need for rebuild.
Depends on the brand I suppose

Another long time since the last update.
However work on the car will be continuous from now one. Need to be ready for Spa 2013.
Holidays have passed and the car is currently back at the body shop for sunroof delete and paint.
Took the body back for 3 weeks to finish off dismantling the doors and take off the remaining glue. Can you spot the difference?

You've won a ride in my car at Spa in 2013

Too much to mention, just look for the pictures when they come and spot the difference

That value is the acceptable upper limit for a cold leakdown.
