Default from the back seat, "ouch, your car burned me!"

Coming home from soccer practice with my 8 year old son in the back, just before I pull into the garage he says, "ouch, your car burned me!"

I said, "my car what?" I immediately thought it can't be that hot in the back seat with the sound pad removed?? (I've also removed the upper portion of the seat) After I confirm he's OK and the car is not on fire, I ask him to point to the spot that was hot. Any guesses?

The exposed metal, where the upper part of the seat back rotates was hot to the touch. Heat transfer from the oil tank?

I'm going cover up the exposed metal. Porsche, everyday magic...

haha, when my kid was 8 yrs. old, he would've said, "Ouch, your car burned my ***!", just to see if he could throw that one by me - to see if I was more worried about the car, or what he said. And then he'd say, "Because that's what Dad says", lol.

That pic was from the "for sale" image gallery when I bought my car 5 years ago. All my resent pictures have kid booster seats in them.
