RUF thought the rain channel spoilers where worth it, even a small mod like that?


UK car: I don't have aircon so my P/S front wing is empty, and the car doesn't need cooling at the front, apart from the area leading to the oil cooler on the D/S (left of the red line).

So why is the air allowed to rush into the inner are and to fill the void? It seems a little illogical to catch the air without moving it smoothly away around the car instead, but it is forced into a large closed area. To make matters worse all the air on the right is forced out through the hole down and forward of the front wheel. Doesn't it just create lift at high speed?

Wouldn't it make sense to block the grill apart from left of the line perhaps?
