One side of my Cabrio top latch motors is starting to fail .
I think the gears are going out on it.

Has anyone ever rebuilt one ? I have seen places that will rebuild them for you or big $$$ to get one new.

I am thinking it might be a good winter project if it can done.

i have seen threads where a tooth broke and the gear was repositioned on the shaft as only part of it is used.
