Intermediate housing broken - Transmission Mount issue
My project issues continue. Been working on a clutch replacement which has led down a slope of new parts and tons of cleaning.
Today I was cleaning the bracket and transmission mount when I realized that there was a broken piece in the in transmission mount (looks like it was broken sometime in the past and was glued back in place). When I traced it back, it appears to be a piece from the Intermediate housing that supports the transmission. I am thinking this is not a piece that would be a good candidate for welding, but not sure.
Any suggestions for next approach? I can get an intermediate covering used (but pricey). Also not sure how difficult to switch it out.
This project has become very expensive, a lot of which was my fault (while I am in there costs).

I've never disassembled a tranny but would assume it will take some specialized tools and some practice to do it well. If it were me, I would take it to a shop.
