Has nobody done this before? (factory speaker grills)

I needed to replace the mounting frame to the door panel, ordered the exact same part from Pelican.
Took off the old and had a tough time removing the speaker from the housing, now I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the speaker into the new frame. They are identical. I cannot get it into the old one even.
Any ideas? Tools and I are mortal enemies but this should be so hard, even for me.

There's a couple threads with templates for building the rings that will set the speakers against the door properly. (I know I uploaded the file I used to laser cut some 1/4" ABS for this purpose) you could trace the template with a saw as well.
I Used Focal two piece speakers and they're awesome, they came with some little metal clips that you can clip around the door card and then thread the screws into them for the grills this is what I used.

Thanks. I just bought the identical part that replaces the broken Porsche factory speaker housing, both are identical, I just cannot figure out how they can clip together, it doesn't look possible even though I took the broken one off to begin with. Hello stereo shop.
