Default Car running rich? Plug wires?

Im starting to think my car is running real rich. If your behind the car while its idling for awhile it starts to stink. Also if I get on going through the gears while driving I can smell gas? Im starting to wonder if the car isnt burning all the fuel. I just put new caps and rotors and coils on the car. The wires are the 150,000 mile originals though. I ordered some yesterday. Do you guys think that could be the issue? Any advise would be appreciated. I also noticed the gas milage is a little worse lately. I 2nd day the wires so I should have them tomorrow.

Have you tried running the car on one coil at a time? (disconnect the low voltage lines leading to the the coils one at a time)

Not sure I'll have to look. Shouldn't it throw a check engine light though if the o2 was bad?

It sounds like a bad O2 sensor to me, too. A diagnostics tool like Laker posted would be helpful here to be sure.
