Is there a way to manually put it up without the special intricate Porsche window tool ?

Yeah, strip the door and either dissconnect the window mech (lever the plastic ball joints), or undo the motor/mech.
Glass will be loose in the runners.

But to be honest, no.

Just get the fault fixed.

a hammer on the electric motor. Worked for me

remove tweeter from door, pull back plastic to expose gears, hit with hammer while switch engaged until it starts moving.

...now is that a Bosch hammer our a Sears Craftsman hammer?

All fixed btw.
