is it leaking?
I thought i had to replace mine but it turned out to be the "bellows" in the transmission and the leak was tranny fluid. Cost $50 instead of $1500.

It's leaking brake fluid.

There were a couple of folks on here (Garrett and KGorman) who explored rebuilding the PDAS slave cylinders, but without success. A search should find their threads, complete with pictures of the disassembled units and the oddball seals inside. I would still think that a shop specializing in hydraulic cylinder repairs could tackle the job. I had the same leaking failure (drips of ATE blue fluid on the garage floor), and bought a used unit from DC Automotive for about $100-125 1-2 years ago (signs that the mind is failing, or signs that I refuse to keep records of how much I spend on this thing). I also bought the replacement short hard line going into the slave cylinder, because the flare fitting was frozen to the tubing and twisted off the line. Good Luck.

Which one is the lateral? If it's the one on the side, I think I have one left.
