Question East coast Porsche parts suppliers?

Hey guys,

Where do y'all buy your Porsche parts (OEM-type stuff, maintenance, etc) ?

I am looking for an East coast supplier, so I don't have to wait as long for parts to come all the way from California...!

Thanks!!

I buy most of my parts from Engine Builders Supply (www.ebsracing.com). They have terrific customer service. Unfortunately, they don't fit your east coast supplier requirement.

There isn't anything on the east coast, my local dealership gets super pissed off when I tell him I get my parts at ??% off of list. He keeps telling Porsche is going to crack down on those dealerships...

Is it just the shipping time?
Don't forget Steve W at Rennsport can supply everything you need, while rocking the support and advice at the same time. He's really worth a call for parts and supplies, and you're dealing with one responsible individual you can build a relationship with.

Well it's annoying sometimes to have to wait an extra 3-4 days for parts - because sometimes those 3-4 days can prevent you from taking advantage of an opportunity to work on your car, and that can sometimes set you back a few weeks.

I do sometimes pay for faster shipping.... but if there's someone good on the East coast, then I don't have to.

autoatlanta.com is pretty good, but its mostly for OEM stuff, though they do have *some* quality aftermarket parts. Not quite like Pelican, but damn do I hate waiting for my stuf to come in from the west coast...

Newton (NJ) Porsche
They will negotiate on price, if you ask.
They often have one day access to parts that Sunset takes weeks to get.

GoCart, hands down I buy from GermanAutoParts. Extremely fast shipping. I get things 2 days after an order most times. Prices are a tiny bit higher than PElican, but obviously you save big time on shipping. And the inventory is good, but not as far ranging as Pelican. Check them out.

Good stuff, thanks guys for the recommendations!!

I figured there has to be a good spot here with all of the Porsche's scattered along our coast - I'll give some of these a try!

Cheers!!

I hear you. It kills me to have
parts special ordered from
Germany sent to Sonnen or Sunset only to have them sent
back east. I have yet to find an East coast dealer that will match Sonnen/Sunset pricing ( cost + 15%)

For East Coasters, Pelican offers 3-day shipping for $3 on most orders over $150 - typically quicker delivery than other east coast vendors...

Have used Pelican several times and am very satisified with service including delivery time. I am just north of Boston.
