Default White on white? Anyone?

As I get my car repainted, I'm thinking of swapping out my Cashmere interior on my Gran Prix White '89 C4 to Linen......

Has anyone ever seen a white on white 964?

Opinions? How do you think it would look?

Any opinions from Linen interior owners about that color. I'm sure it will show the dirt more than Cashmere, but I think the cool feel would be nice in my climate. (It's already been almost 100F several days this month.)

I might go for black carpet and door pockets / pulls to keep the white on the doors "in the background".

my vote - stay with the contrast, spend the $ on mods that make the car perform better, or more fun. steering wheel, suspension, wheels, exhaust, on and on.........

My 964 is Guards Red, so cant help too much. But...Im a big fan of linen and preferred a car with this interior over black and other popular colours.

Seats and door trims are linen. My carpets also match!

Really nice colour once its clean but does get dirty. I use leather wipes regularly on seats and door cards etc. Carpet gets a wet vacuum at the start of the show season and then cleaned with spray on carpet cleaner when dirty

Wish I were in that position, but my interior is SHOT. Seats are beyond repair and I'm sick of looking at them. Replacing the entire interior is only a few more $$$ than just seats.

I just finished a complete rebuild last fall. I have H&R Greens on the bench, ready to go in, and I'm saving for Bistein HD's. Cup pipe and high end sound system have been installed. Stearing wheel is next on cosmetics/performance list.

I will probably stop at that point until I go for a different car when I'm tired of this one and can afford a newer car, wide body, or turbo.

My 89 C4 is Gran Prix White with a Linen interior, when I got the car it was not my first choice....now, would not consider any other color combination. Linen with the black contrast on the dash, floor mats, etc, IMHO is fantastic. It is not an overpowering white interior, like you see on 80's lambos. I will try to post some pics, later. I am at work.

When I was looking to purchase a 964, I saw pictures of a linen (or GPW?) exterior with linen interior 964 that a guy was selling last year. I just couldn't bring myself to buy a car with that color combination. If you want to change your interior, perhaps you could switch to light gray. That would like very nice with a GPW exterior, IMO.

I'm sure white on white is what George Burns would have driven in "Oh, God"

or perhaps Morgan Freeman in "Bruce Almighty"....

Hey Laker.

No, that's not me. I would have to say I'm more like John Denver than George Burns. After all, we both went to Arcitecture School at Texas Tech!

Good one!

I guess Don and I are comfortable enough with our manhood to like white. (Although you'd never catch me in THAT outfit.)

And to think I subjected myself to this ridicule! C'mon elbeee and Ken, you're on a roll......................

Still laughing..........
That creamy interior is so bad.

WAIT! Is that cassette storage in the bottom edge of the dash??? Oh, I gotta have that.

I actually lived in Boca for a couple of years in the late 80's. I swear it didn't rub off on me.
