Default KTS 300 "hammer" internal battery

Has anyone replaced their internal KTS 300 battery....Bosch 1 687 335 002 ?? I am having a devil of a time finding one or a replacement with a non-bosch item; 7.2v, 0.5 Ah. Any thoughts.

my hammer battery pack is made by Graupner whick looks like a RC model supplier out of europe. No part number, but it's a shrink wrapped stack of 6 Panasonic Ni Cad 1000 batteries. The batteries each have welded tabs. The whole package looks like it was supplied as-is, with male connector on black, female connector on red. I store the hammer with the battery pack removed if and when the bateries start leaking. If you need a pic, let me know.

I believe John Speake refurbishes these unit and supplies the battery pack. http://www.jdsporsche.com/services.html

Did you manage to find a source for a battery pack?
