I have an open fetish for Vipergrün - paint code 225/3838, or something like that - which was only available in the 70s. I wonder if anyone ever ordered a 964 with this custom color. I called our nearby dealer a few months ago and inquired about whether historic, official colors could be custom-ordered, and they led me to believe it was still possible to do before scheduled production runs –*meaning it might be months before you see your car, and I think you had to get your order in specifically during the spring for the following model year. But it is possible, apparently, for a few thousand bucks.
Anyone taken advantage of this option with a more recent purchase?

For as few Oak Green cars as there are out there, they do show up on Rennlist a lot, don't they. Here is mine and then one shot of a local friend's Oak Green Turbo.

Cam Arnott posted these pictures up recently of a Murano Green C4 for sale on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I actually had a PPI performed on this car, but wasn't entirely happy with it. Great looking car, though...
