Using Scantool and "Rennlist" interface kit on Windows 7 / Core i3 laptop. Only had to set com port, everything else worked straight out of box, including adaption. (No more stalling

AFAIK, It's a very simple application. What is the error you are getting? Does it run? or does it run but not connect to the tool you are using? I have always had success with it in Win 95, 98 and 7

no no motor just yet....just trying to set up the scantool on my computer in preperation for its arrival (very soon)
frustration....thought I knew enough about a computer to get by....maybe not...going to talk to a comp tech I know (also a gearhead) he can help...but I also ran across a deal on a bosch KTS-300 with the porsche module and cables gonna buy it since its too sweet of a deal to pass up.
