My religious confliction is based on my actual experience of 20W-50 curing the low pressure light when hot at idle for over two years. Maybe some scientific data can one day explain it.

I Know that with a 20w50 I will fix the problem, but my mechanic said me not to use 20w50, So what I can't to do is put 20w50 because I think that it's a lack of respect for they knowledge. And I repeat, I'm not saying that 20w50 is a bad oil/choise.
What I try is to fix the problem without using 20w50 oil, so I only want to do is to be sure that a 10w60 which is an alternative to mineral 20w50 oil, will fix that. Theory says that a bigger density will be even better thant the 20w50, and will increase oil pressure more than the 20w50, What I want to know too is if that is correct or not and what do you think about my/the theory.
Regards

The official Porsche dealership topped up my engine oil to the max level with 0W40 Mobil 1 when it was already at a nice level (right between min and max) with Castrol edge sport 10w60.
I just asked the guys to check my trans fluid levels, thanks for the engine oil top up you fools
