Looks like a Raid/FVD wheel to me. Great job on the trim rings. Looks excellent.

the steering wheel says RUF in the middle. it came with the car and the PO included the original factory also.

I got the white face gauges from eBay, they were a steal compared to what they want for these:

I paid a lot less for them, if for some reason they don't work out I will have them for sale. They are nice and they truly appear to be factory white faced gauges out of turbo??

Oooh very nice - looks a bit retro.

I just had some chrome ones installed (over the original) on my 964T. I have yet to see them in the flesh though.

Should look similar to this (although it's a 993):

I like yours better I think, but mine are easier to do

And yours for comparison...

You never talked about how you removed the black paint and polished them up though...

Very nice job. It looks great!

Don't want to hijack the thread but anybody knows where I can find a clear lens. One of my gauge has a cracked/ scratched one?

i used 200 grit sandpaper cut in small pieces and sanded the paint off by hand. once done, i used a 1000 grit sand paper to polish off. thats all i did.

Zizu, just so you know, when i removed my guages, 3 of the guages had glass lens and 2 had an acrylic lens. not sure why but i thought it was interesting.

Do you know what the small red light in your dash is for? I have two; one on either side of the tach. I'm thinking maybe a custom radar detector install at some point?

Gekko,

i have no idea what they are. i did notice that they were not plugged to anything from the inside. my guess is it may have been the lights to an aftermarket alarm at some point. another possibility is it could be an indicator light for the Dino cell phone i have that came with the car. The thing is gynormous as you can see from the photo.

i didnt want to remove them because then i would have a nasty hole to look at.
