I'm a big fan of stock wheels and still have my D-90's mounted with pride, but Slips2, both those wheel choices are hot. Looks great! The 996 wheels have a good look to them on a 964.

Kept my Carrera wheels and powder coated gloss black with a colored Porsche logo as the center cap. Otherwise all that I have read suggest staying with no more than 17" wheels.

Looking good. The "more civilized" 996 10-spokes definitely look classy on a 964. They look classy and mean in black. Could be your next move before getting a new set?

Plus 2 sized 996 10-spoke would look fantastic!

Thanks for your compliments and showing other 10-spoke variations - most informative.
I was very close to going flat black on the 10-spokes this time and based on your photoshop will probably do so next iteration. Thanks again.

P964c2.......I'm wondering about any resolution on your wheels. I think very nearly like you about touring comfort on16" D90s vrs. the 17" 9j and 7js that I am on now. My cup 1s are great looking but I think I want 16" 7 and 8s.

The D90s just weren't butch enough.
Mister BH,

Where did you buy your hollow turbo twists? I have a 1990 C4 with D90s on it but I love the look of the turbo twists with the full color crest. Who is the best supplier?

Maybe another member may know.

I've got to say that the coolest wheel is always the original. Particularly Design 90 on a 964. To drive a car like that and not feel you have to shout about it is just uber.

I have a set of these 17" (7"/9") OEM twists with fairly new rubber. Looking to sell inexpensively...basically just want to cover the cost of the tires. Let's say $700. Shoot me a PM if interested.

You're right ArtTwister! Especially on the Cab. Dunno why, but D90's belong on the 964 Cab. Do I have them on my Cab? Shamefully, NO. Bought car with chrome aftermarket CupI's.(7's and 8's). And, of course, we're awash in opinion here. Cheers, everyone!

the Twists were on the car when I got it, not sure where the best place to buy a set may be but I see them all the time on eBay and sometimes on Pelican.
