Talking KW V1's are on!

They are great!!!

My initial thoughts after the install.
  • The backs where much more difficult than the front the top bolts are very hard to get to.
  • Make sure to take the car to a lift to break the bottom blots.
  • The camber bolts for the front struts that KW ship with are super cool.
  • I set the suspension up at the max drop that KW recommended and on a 90 the back is too low. I will let it settle a bit and then adjust to RS height.
  • The compression and rebound that are preset by KW fell really good.
  • Ride is firmer but still very wife friendly.

I will report more after I get it corner balanced.

Good job Daryl. Isn't it great to install them yourself? Congrats!

Very interested in your impressions. Considering the KW V1s and H&R's Performance Street. Appear to similar products; non-adjustable coilovers (?).

Thanks Chris,

I still have a lot more work to do on the car. I just need to find the time or give up and have Automobile Associates do the work for me.

They are the same as V3's l 170F-450R linear springs with a light helper spring.
