Happy Friday - I will be spending the day on Saturday with my GF's family for Easter. Sunday will be cleaning her condo, prepping it to go on the market next week. The realtor is coming over on Sunday to inspect the place and for the GF to sign the papers.
Looking forward to the condo repairs to be over, so I can get begin my cab's engine overhaul. I have the engine stand, yoke and the engine is sitting on the garage floor.
Little P-car for me either, but hope to get the '28 Model A out for a little drive (provided I can get the coil and ignition switch issues sorted)
Next week is all planning, as I have 10 days of work coming up in Oz. Hopefully I can meet up with some of the 964 dudes who drive on the wrong side, and have oil swirl out of the drain the wrong way...
Put in the H4s this afternoon, I still have to wire in the relays and all that other fun stuff. And the engine under tray showed up!
Happy Easter!
It would have been cool to only have done one light and then taken a night shot to show the difference. Engine tray? plz elaborate.
.....
Happy Easter everyone! It's killing me that Hershey is this weekend. Next year..., unless it's always the Saturday before Easter??
Only P-Car activity is taking the relatives on jaunts through the country, hopefully top down, but weather looks like rain through Monday.
The engine tray is the cover on the bottom of the motor that everyone throws away - I wanted to get one for winter ops. Most people toss them because they make the engine hot. So, remove the tray in May and reinstall 1 October just in time for winter time crap.
Christallon is doing an install this weekend on the H4s, perhaps he can do a before and after, or I can take a ride out your place and we can line em up and see what we can see...
I just plugged the H4's in. I'm going to aim them tonight and be done with it. They look fantastic! Now the big decision is to leave the rings natural chrome, or cover them with the handy white snap on rings.... Hmmmmmmm......
Sorry guys, I didn't consider installing one and snapping a few pics to compare. I am told there is a dramatic difference though. Darn.. If I get a second wind........
From: Philly Area ----- George Washington took a dump in my backyard!
Well, I wasn't going to do anything....BUT.....I was mopeing around and saw my "old" Corian kitchen countertops which were recently replaced. So, a little measuring and cutting, I now have new tops and shelves in the garage.
