The wheels were originally silver they way the came when I bought them from veloce. I was on the fence between black and silver centers when I bought them but they were out of black so I set on the silver ones. Then I got bored with them and decided to repaint them myself.

Thanks everyone, glad you like her! More pics to come as I get her ready for Hershey.

Can wait to see some more pictures....Looks incredible...Nice job....

How did you paint the centers, if you dont mind mind me asking.....I was thinking of doing the same but paint my centers a dark gray (anthracite color) for my grand prix white Carrera...I just hope it would go with the dark burgundy interior color of my Carrera

I am planning on getting some Veloce 18" but can't make my mind up whether to go for the silver or black centres. I have a guards red cabriolet.
If you decide to buy some would you please post some photos.

Since the wheels are not real 3 piece or 2 piece wheels you have to be very careful with masking tape. I ended up popping out the "rivets" and spent a few hours masking off the outer lip. The hard part is the 3mm ridge that can't be masked off or you will see a sliver of silver around the wheel center. All in all it turned out better than I thought. Painting is 90 % prep work. I cleaned and scuffed the centers with a scotch brite pad and used dupli-color paint prep wipes and tack cloths. After that I hit them up with 3 coats of satin black rustoleum paint. which I have used several times on friends Fuchs wheels.

I think you did a fabulous job on the car. White is awesome. Only one negative is the red fairy horse decal. Other than that...sweet ride.

Love the Pegasus. Now you need to drop the front end a little, and it'll look awesome. Nice job! I actually like the flags on your car too.

great transformation, as a fellow gpw'er I have not considered the script but looks fantastic with the rest of the package.
