ok am looking at a lot of information on transmissions for my C2 and am a bit confused. how do I know what trans will fit correctly and have the correct speedometer hook up? there seems to be quite a bit of difference between the G-50 trans. I think mine was a G-50 03 but it also looks like they changed the way the speedometer hooked up to them from 90 to 91?? how do I know which speedo hook up is in my C2? (remember please I am very non mechanical and pictures would be a HUGE help). if I go with a 1990 G-50 03 trans (I think that would be an "L" code or am I wrong again?) am I going to be assured it will be correct?

never mind...adrian's 964 companion book arrived today in the mail questions have been answered. what a great book!!

I need a "L" code G50 03 C2 transmission. the speedometer impulse sender was changed in the '91 model "M" code transmission.


so please if anyone has an "L" code trans sitting around that they might like to part with please let me know
