I'll bite, I love engine ****! This isn't completely up to date, as I have also powder coated the intake elbow and the upper valve covers, along with decals on the intake runners, but I will try to get that one uploaded later and replace this one. Enjoy!

Is that a CF fan shroud? Where did you get it from?

The fan shroud and the fuse box cover are from carbon marcus, excellent stuff!

Michael Rose in Santa Rosa, CA, chose the color. I don't know if there's any precedence for it or not and I've yet to talk to him as to why he went with that color. I'm picking the car up this week, just in time as we've just ended a super wet rainy season here...we've had nearly 4 feet of rain in the last 6 weeks here in Humboldt County.

I believe the exhaust was primered, then painted the Meissen Blue. The engine tins were all powder-coated. I've replaced the stock engine mounts with Wevo Black Pillows and lowered the car to Euro specs. Not sure if the fan was powder-coated or just painted.

The car was a gift from my Dad, who's entering his twilight years and was no longer driving the car. I picked up the car in Florida and put 6000 miles on it returning to California. Since I had spent no money getting into the car I thought it would be a good time to get the oil leaks fixed (it was dripping maybe 2 tablespoons per month). She had 81,000 miles going into the top-end rebuild and did not have the original factory fix for the oil leaks. Michael sent the heads and barrels off to be machined to stop the leaks...still without any gaskets but he says his engines don't leak afterward and it comes with a 12 month warranty against leaks!
