New MO30 Springs from Pelican - or Other?
Hey all - on my old C4 I had a used MO30 spring/damper set installed and I LOVED the ride. On my C2 Targa I have new Billie-HD's with stock springs and the ride is not nearly as good. The car also rides quite tall in the saddle - but lowering is not my objective; granted I would accept some lowering to fix the ride quality. The stock-rear-springs just ride bloody-harsh over expansion joints and I recall the MO30's were linear-rate but much more suited to USA roads.
What is the conventional wisdom on buying MO30 vs. H&R's or Eibach's? Anyone have direct experience in the comparison? I only ever drove Hawk's convertible around the block after we put his suspension on - and I can't recall how different/same it felt to my C4.
