Alarm Control Box Location
All,
Like most UK listers on here I have the original Hamilton and Palmer Cat 2 Immobiliser Key fob and an additional Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser. I have had an issue with the additional alarm, a GT 136, with one of the fobs running out of battery and loosing the settings to unlock the car. I know that there are switches on the GT alarm that will allow me to reprogram the fob, but I just can't find the damm thing!
I've looked under the dash for it and can see a real mess of wires where things have been spliced in, and under the drivers seat (RHD) there was nothing there when I put in place a new amp a number of years ago. Any ideas where else installers would put the control boxes? Are they in the engine compartment?
And also, if any other UK people have the instructions for the GT 136 alarm I'd love a copy..I can only find ones on the net in French!
