Pretty much. It started out life as a 959, and is now something 'different'.

That thread was a nightmare. This one's even worse - 959-related lawsuit.

There was another thread over on Pelican regarding an Excellence feature on the Canepa 959s, and a subsequent letter to the editor. There are some in the community disputing Canepa's version of events vis-a-vis his envolvement with the federalization of the 959. Caveat emptor.
