square or bullet side mirrors?

square or bullet side mirrors?
Is it just me or is there really something about the more classic square side mirrors versus the bullet mirrors that everyone seems to gravitate toward. Call me weird but I just purchased a '90 C2 coupe and absolutely love the square mirrors. I will never replace them with the more stylish, popular bullets. I just think the 964 retains that more classic look with the quirky square mirrors. I may be alone here but let me know if there is anybody else out there that shares this opinion.

I think a lot of people like the bullet mirrors because it makes the car look like a newer model. I love the classic look of the flag mirrors. I'm keeping them and my D90's. The car is a 1991 and I'm interested in keeping it totally stock.

Do you think those highly specific aerodynamic properties were formulated/designed using flag or aero mirrors? That's right, I believe the whole airflow design was calculated using Flag Mirrors. So why take a chance? ;-)

I like the aero mirrors, but not enough to swap them. And sometimes it's better to leave things as nature intended. Legendary indeed:

I have aero mirrors on my RS America because they came stock that way. If I owned an early 964 that came with flag mirrors, I'd probably keep them. I personally think either looks fine and of all the things I could spend money on for my cars, mirrors aren't it. Tires and brakes eat most of my 964 budget...

+1 flags.
And this is the first time I've heard anyone speak to the practical point of better visibility (above). It became an obvious point when I bought my King Ranch pickup and was surprised how much I could see in those big things.
