Default Removing Flywheel

Other than a possibility of stripping bolt heads..is there a real reason not to use an impact gun when removing the flywheel bolts ? Reason I ask is that I seem to have better luck using the impact on low while removing bolts from this engine than not using it. thanks in advance for any comments.

Yup, put the impact on low, give them a light touch, they'll come right out.

I've only done this a few times, but have never been able to remove the flywheel bolts without an impact gun

Thanks guys for the little extra en"courage"ment...got them off this afternoon and all the bolts looked the same length as they came off so that was a good thing..everything turned out well and maybe on the next day off I can get on with cracking the case...Thanks again!
