Hi Guys, searched the forum but didn't find an answer. Which coil fires which distributer or does it matter? After changing caps & rotors I'm not sure if I connected the proper coil wires to the correct distributer.

On mine, the coil furthest forward (towards the drivers seat) fires distributor #2, that is the one connected to the engine, distributor #1 is the one driven by the belt. Hopes that makes sense.

 

Thanks, makes sense. Just dropping in some new coils & want to make sure all is hooked up properly.
