I read a few posts suggesting that the black Bosch ignition coils were more reliable than the silver versions.
I found a few websites with photos of the black version, although after an email they confirmed it was the silver version.
Has anyone recently purchased a new black Bosch ignition coil?

There haven't been any black Bosch coils in several years since they switched production from Germany to Brazil.
If you have a silver one, my best advice is to carry a spare.

and i think i read a post from lorenfb that the 993 dual unit is compatible. presumably the unit above is the 993 dual unit?
