I could not wait to get rid of that center high mounted stop light and put in ROW glass without it, and add 993 stop light.

Now when I see pristine 964s for sale, I just cringe when I see it.

How many of you still have it?

I got rid of the light, but kept the glass. Added an aftermarket 3rd light and it wasn't bad. Now with the roll bar, I can't see either from the rear view mirror.

I actually put one of these BACK INTO my 993. But it serves a purpose. Can you find the V1?

Just hope that the highway patrol person who stops you isn't a five foot tall woman. That's a very nice stealthy installation.

That's on the 'to do ' list. Light is removed but I still have the black surround on the glass. I get hassled at every track inspection. Is there a write up for installing the 993 light??
And what did the ROW glass cost?

I was planning on getting rid of it in my car, actually got a 993 high mount light, 993 rear glass and all the wiring to do it per the tsp. And sold the car. But if I ever get another, that's the first thing to go.

Stevepaa. Give up the lowdown on specifics.

Did you use 964 ROW glass
Where and how much for the glass
Did you use 964 rubber seal
Thank you

Here's the wiring part of it: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...ctor-pics.html

I believe that the mechanical part is straightforward. There are fasteners that get bonded to the glass.
