Talking KW v1's are here

Just got back from a week down in the BVI's. I came home to a pile of snow and a big box from Germany.

I got them for $1560 delivered to my door.

I think they should work out well for a street car. I hope I like them as much as the v3's I put on my wifes TT.

Wow! didn't know these where out! these V1s should be just as good for street, as I had V1s on a few of my Vws, and they are good, with the quality. Just wonder how much they are here!

I think the max drop should be similar, KW mentions 320mm wheel hub center to fender edge. TireRack has a 225-40-18 with a diameter of 637mm so I think the fender should just about be at the top of the tire.

Phew! You had two in the picture and with the price tag - it was going to be big buck$.

How was their turnaround time?

I just grab one of each for the photo. They took about 10 days to come.

Would be interesting to findout what difference in drop compared with the Clubsport and the V3s.

I just looked at the V3 manual that is dated 10/26/2010 online. It has the same 320mm info for wheel hub center to fender. I talked to the KW guys a good bit and they said on a 964 the V1's are basically V3's just without the damping adjustment. They use the same springs 170lbs front / 450lbs rear and I think the shock bodies are the same.

My information says, that the V1 is only for C2s. For C4s, there´s no TÜV certificate.
