Default New wheels

Hello all, I am new to Rennlist, but have been a Porsche owner for a few years. I own a 911 Carrera 3.2 wide body cab.
I recently acquired a 1992 964 with 18" wheels (996 Sport wheels), I do not like the feel and they provide a very rough ride. I was debating if I should go back to OEM Cup I wheels, which I really like. I found these:

http://www.finishlinewheels.com/PORS...92/A-67200U10/

and was wondering if anyone has feedback with these guys. These wheels appear somewhat cheap to be OEM even used refurbished !! But before I commit to purchasing a set of 8s and 9s, I though about asking on this Forum.

Any comments or info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Stephan

I'd be curious also since new originals are 4K.

I think last year there was an offer like this on ebay, after some checking I think the Wheels were out of Asia - replicas - not OEM - I want to say that it was a limited run as after several months the wheels no longer appeared on ebay -
But, these may not be the same - just my 2 cents

I was able to get Audi S4 rims by the OEM (minus the centercaps) for a 1/4 of the dealer price. There is a ton of markup. Not saying these are OEM, although they do indicate that, but I'm just saying there is a lot of non-value added mark-up when going thru the dealer. Why don't you ask the company where they come from?

Welcome to Rennlist.

As for your link, I would be willing to bet that if you contact them, they will state that the wheels are not in stock, with no ETA.

Check with Wheel Enhancement to see if they have anything available - they typically have both OE and aftermarket replicas.

Thanks Ken D, I didn't think of these guys even though I have dealt with them in the past.

Thanks for the info all from above.

Here is a picture of the Car I just bough from Miami. She now sits in my garage in PA, waiting for decent weather so I can clean her from all the filth she went through over the ice strom last week (between Miami and West Chester, PA).

PChar nice rig, we're having quite the following here on Rennlist. Laker is Montco, I'm slightly displaced from Delco and I think LouZ is from Chesco. I see a stationary drunk front in the not to distant future.

PChar, both your cars are gorgeous, I'm actually technically in DelCo. I will be organizing a Saturday ride come spring. Goshen/Providence Roads, Meeting at Porsche of the Main Line to pick up that odd part. Will keep you posted. Anyone else (no cops please :-) local interested, please PM me.

I trired to get some cup 1's from finishline wheels a few months ago. They didn't have them in stock.

I do have a line on another Rennlister who is looking to sell his cup 1's, though. I think he was asking for something around a grand, and they are oem.

Let me know if you want more info.
