Default What Did I get Myself into

The car was almost done, when I decided that the fiberglass rear bumper would melt from the heat of the stainless exhaust. SO being a practical man, I decided to do the front also.

Default Work In Process

Making the Front End was alot more work then we imagined. The four corner did not have pockets, so we needed to do more METAL

Default Getting into the Rear

Since the Stainless Exhaust started the problem we addressed it by making bumperetts first out of steel

Getting it all put together has been an long hard learning process. Now we are starting to see the light.

I love that rear centre section.

What a huge amount of work fabbing it all in steel. It's going look great when it's finished.

The one detail that I'm still not sure about is the cups on a backdate.

Default Wheels and Tires Ideas

I agree the cup wheels are not ideal, but I have been watching for a set of used Linsey or Fuchs to make a affordable alternative.

Since I have another 964 project, a widebody, in the waiting I am using stock wheels until completed because I can then have the same offsets, width, and diameter Lindsay, Fuchs, someone made later.

Thanks for the love.
