Default switch for raising spoiler

ok so i bought a 89 964 c4 went over it quickly at shop and found 2 switches on the underside of dash facing down on left side of dash near ignition cylinder.is one of these for raising the spoiler manually. if not where would i find it and what would these switches be for. Anybody got a copy of porches owners manual that explains location and purpose of everything on pdf they would be willing to share with me?

I believe you are talking about the switches that determine which side rear view mirror the adjustment control will adjust and the sunroof. I believe the adjustment for the rear spoiler is located with the center console switches in front of the stick shift. I installed a fixed rear spoiler, so am not 100% sure on that.

switch is on the underside of the engine lid on the 89's - should see a silver toggle switch

What Ian said, 89 did not have the switch in the console.
