I have a set of front and rears made from stuff called plasticard (eBay) fixed with Sticky Fixers (outdoor variety) - they are subtle and work a treat.

Keep forgetting to take any. Will try tomorrow.
I actually cut them to shape before I realised that the '64 Turbo had front flaps available - they look exactly the same!
Great minds, hey. :-)

I would like to see some nice shots if possible John.
I have made small mudflaps (not for this car) before and have a 3mm black ABS plastic sheet for the job.
@ Russ if you get a chance how far do you need to have it extended out from the arch 10mm- 20mm? And also below the arch 30mm - 50mm?

Thanks Russ, I have started to make a template and should finish cutting them tomorrow. Once i pick up some torq head self tappers used for the undertray on the Audi it should be done. thanks again

Ha ha! Bit of a tale there, Steve.
A box of garage door insulation came free with the DynoTiles that I did the floor with.
I could see there wasn't quite enough in one box to line the entire double door, but after I'd finished the floor I thought, 'Well this stuff has cost me nothing, I might as well try it and see what I think'.
It actually works pretty well - keeps the garage cool in summer and warm in winter and adds a lot to the light level inside. 'Okay,' I thought, 'I never would have considered using this stuff but now that I have I might as well order another box. I can't be expensive if they're giving a box away free'.
So I checked on DynoTiles' website and it's a hundred quid a box. So normally £200 for the job. I wouldn't have spent that much on it, and I wouldn't have bought the first box for £100, but this neat little marketing-via-unsolicited-freebie idea meant I did shell out for the second box. :-)
At half retail price it's worth it, I'd say.
If you decide to get some, BTW, two things -
1. I Have some left. If it's for a double door, it might be j-u-s-t enough to complete the job if you only ordered a single box for yourself.
2. You can get it cheaper (exactly the same box and all) on eBay. This is how I got me second box (and it's even from the same seller). About £80 IIRC.
Sorry for the O/T/

Unkle, looking again at that pack of sticky fixers from the Staples link - they look white. Mine have white peel-off but the pads are black. The packet looks identical, except for the pad colour in the little picture.
