Always wanted an Exclusive leather window switch?
Have a maroon interior?
Have a maroon interior with Exclusive leather appointments?
Want to distinguish the 'special' switch from lowly average ones?
Window switch recently break?

If you answered yes to any of the following, your part is waiting!

I am very confused as to why this would ever be a "stocked" item, being special-wishes only

A lot of times if you special ordered something like this they had to buy a minimum number from the supplier. Most likely this has been sitting on the shelf since 1997 when they produced a 993 with similar interior.

The America GS and Bob's last 930 had custom stereos installed at the factory by Alpine. He told me that they had a number of Alpine employees working on the stereo for his last 930 for nearly a year.

The interior is not to most liking but it was done by the same designer who worked on the Panamericana prototype. It is much nicer in person but still a little shocking when you see it initially.
