Default 964 Engine pulley. How s yours? More than 1kEuro new..

Hello!
What s the state of your engine pulley?
Mine is not in it s best shape. Can it harm the cranckshaft or just rubbing the belts?
First and second part of the film are in slow motion, FINAL is at normal speed.

Looks bad at slow speed and not so bad at normal speed (as most of us what see our own pulleys). Is it possible that the aircon compressor is out of alignment and what you're seeing is the aircon belt doing the distortion? If so, disconnect the aircon belt and see what effect it has.

The crank pulley is also a "harmonic balancer" so I would have that looked at by a pro ASAP.

Well, it has been checked by a pro, i even replaced it with another used one. He said that it has to be replaced, not necessary, but i was wondering if there are other ways of adjusting it. . I ll have to check without the a/c belt.
I mean, is the replacement really necessary, or i can live with it?

I bought a 964 engine with no harmonic balancer but chickened out of running it without so put a wanted post on Pelican and got one really quickly for very sensible money - it may be worth a try?

I almost fell off my seat when I got a price for a brand new one at around £1000, even the car dismantlers wanted £300 - £400!!!
