Default Taking things apart...

If I want to take out the intakes and clean them. The reason being it that i managed to overfill the engine with about half a liter and if I run my finger over the lower doublehoseclips under the throttlebody my finger gets wet with oil.

What are the best subassemblies to break things down into?

I've already taken out the airfilterbox and hot air fan + ducts.

Want to get some advice before i tackle the whole octopussnest of cables and hoses.....

There are a couple hoses to loosen on the back side, it will be a little bit of a PITA but just feel around back there and you will feel which ones need to be loosened. The bracket on the left side of the intake manifold has a fuel line running through it, just detach the bracket from the intake and you should not have to touch the fuel line, the electrical connectors can be disconnected and Porsche very nicely color coded them The other electrical connectors on the front side are easy enough to detach, just number them and take a lot of pics before you take them off, it will save you a lot of headache later on. I would loosen the clamps on the top of the bottom plastic portions of the intakes, the metal lip is shorter than the plastic one on the actual intakes connecting to the cylinder. Shouldn't be too hard of a job. Good luck - attached some pics so you can see the backside of the intake manifold
