Default Front bumper brake ducts. ABS plastic available?

Does anyone know a company that makes ABS plastic (i.e. not fiberglass) front bumper brake ducts for the 964? The ducts I am looking for replace the original front bumper lamps.

I would also love to buy the RSR-type front under-bumper two-piece splitters in ABS plastic!

Borrowed pics below.

Thanks

WOW, great pictures. Love the RSR 3.8! Do a search for AP Car Design in Germany. AFAIK, they make their own ducts. Otherwise try FVD but I'm not sure if it's plastic or fiberglass. The RSR-type splitter was available from Gert a while back. I think they sold out. FVD also has the splitter, but it looks slightly different and the FVD part is one piece.

I just bought a set of brake ducts from "AP Car Design in Germany", pretty sure they are FG, will let you know when they arrive.

It seems like plastic ducts are nearly impossible to find

Now I just need to figure out who makes the best fiberglass ducts!

I did a lot of looking around and ended up buying the ones from AP design CLICK HERE .
Liked the fit and finish over some of the other products; the price is pretty good as well, $ 173.00 shipped. Wish you had let me know 2 weeks ago when I ordered mine.

Also looking to purchase a set of these. Found two US based options from another post on here:

http://www.betterbodiesmotorsport.co...tairducts.html

http://www.gettydesigncalifornia.com...ml#rsrairducts

They were recommended for making quality components, but without personal experience not sure where to order from. Have also been thinking about the AP option. Anybody have experience with these options to guide our purchases? Had you looked at these before you bought Steen?

Getty happens to make those splitters which are right under the ducts on their page.

Thanks,
Jordan

Jordan, I have not seen any of these ducts in person, I am going from pictures only. What I like about the AP Design units is the fit, i.e. the way they fill out the hole in the bumper and match up to the lights, also there are no visible fastners. I should have mine in about a week, can let you know what I think.

Please do! Have to get a little paint work done in the next few weeks and would like to have these in advance of that. Thanks.

The brake ducts from AP design arrived yesterday and I must say, they are very well made, nice and solid. The finish is a bit off, but nothing the paintshop can't fix. I will post more pictures after they have been painted and installed.

My curiosity is what are the plans for them. Meaning, I looked into it for my car and trying to figure out the duct work to get the air directly to the rotors seems like alot of work to try to make it effective.
I will say I like the look of it, but don't see any benefit to an opening infront of the bumper from a functional standpoint.
That being said, i'd like to see how it looks/fits when your done.

I will do a complete step by step with pictures of the install, which will include removal of the bumper cover, and yes these are strictly for looks; right now the fog lights are my daytime running lights, so I still have to figure which lights to hook up to replace them; options are the second light in the H4's or the blinker/parking lights.

Steen, thanks for the pics! I do like the shape and concealed hardware of them more than the others I've seen. Did you order direct from Germany or go through their US distributor: http://www.911aircooled.com/? How long did it take to get them?

I ordered mine straight from Germany, took about 3 weeks by mail to get here, mind you that was over Christmas, so maybe now it would be a little faster. I didn't even know about their US distributor, will use them next.
