Great to meet everyone; some great cars! Now have serious Cup pipe envy to deal with, they sounded great ...

Looking forward to the next one!

Default A pic and video

Was great seeing you all and the new faces and cars!

Thanks to Darren for organising the drive, nothing like the view of 964 at speed!

Looks like The Annual will have a great selection of 964s.

Pls excuse the phone video quality... next time I'll have the proper cam and clamp

I used my iPhone on Sunday.

However next time I'll be using my Drift Innocation HD170 1080P, it records at 30fps, water resistant and has a screen for setting up and reviewing your shots, the lens can be rotated 360°.

The GoPro shoots at 60fps ( useful if you intend on slowing down you footage in post ), it's water resistant, however lacks a screen. I believe the video quality is a little better on the GoPro ( re auto exposure & smoothness ). If you do go with the GoPro the motor sport version comes with a suction cup.

All in all they're both incredible cameras, the only thing that swayed me was the screen element, however these cameras have such wide angle lenses that you can't really mess up your shot.

Here is the company that I used, they have a great range and good customer service,

Cheers Frank..... I wouldn`t know how to slow the images down onces I`ve shoot the clip anyway!

i`ve got a point and shoot lumix TZ10 but figure I need a proper camera for shooting clips which I can mount somewhere. Not ideal trying to video while driving, although i often give it a go. What software do you use to edit on?

Well the nature of my job means I have access to a few different pieces of software ( not that I know how to properly use even a quarter of them! ) but I tend to use Final Cut and quite simply Mac's iMovie.
