Default Sound proofing/insulation in foot well is missing

With the exterior now done I am moving inside and it's time for new carpets through out for my C4. The only issue I have is that somewhere in my cars history the sound proofing/insulation in the drivers foot well has been removed leaving an annoying uneven floor.

Has anyone replaced this insulation, if so what did you use and where did you get it? I was thinking of getting some dense thick EVA foam.

Any suggestions.

Thanks,

Matt

I got the Renn Line Track mats for both sides. But it’s mostly a track car so removed mine along with a bunch of other insulation. What ever you get remember that area is really just a bowl. So it will collect moister and crud. IIRC Porsche changed the type of insulation they used ~’92. Might want to try a recycler to see if they have the stock pieces
