If not put you key in and turn it to accessory or whatever and you should hear the fluid being compressed. Check the level and fill as appropriate.
Thanks - Solved my problem.

Every time I checked the fluid level it was always at MAX but the system did not go through the pressurization. Finally got the key on pump running and the fluid dropped below MIN. Local p-car shop provided me with the left over fluid from a complete system flush, topped it off and now my warning lights are off
