RHD 964 clutch rest?
Forgive my ignorance guys, only ever having owned a left hooker 964, but do RHD 964's have a left foot rest?
I'm prowling, prowling looking for the right car, and assumed they don't (my old '84 Carrera RHD, rest it's sole, didn't), and I have to have a rest for my arthritic left ankle.
Incase you're interested, it ended up in a ditch, sad, but the insurance payout plus a bit let me purchase a '91 RSL. Don't own that anymore
Thanks in advance

I believe that you can swap the complete pedal box to the later version to give you a little space for the footrest on the left but it is very small compared to the LHD set up. Only people with tiny feet need apply to use it! However, the expense and hassle is not necessary IMO. It only takes a small time to adjust to the normal set up shown in John's photo above. For normal driving I rest my left foot underneath the clutch pedal and then rest it on the pad to the right of it (again see John's pic above) when motorway cruising.

When I was looking for a 964 (4 years ago) I drove a C4 and it didn't have a foot rest. I then drove a couple of C2s and both of these had foot rests. My 964 is an October '92 build and of course has one and I assumed that it was only the C4s that didn't have a foot rest. Then a mate of mine bought a '93 late build and... it doesn't have a footrest. Pic of my setup attached. It would be interesting to know Porsche's logic in this matter.

OK, looking again, my motorcycle mangled ankle is unlikely to allow me to drive a right hooker.
Rob, great head-on photo, thanks
John B, photo looks interesting, but looking at Rob's, it's as I originally thought, I don't have enough movement to get my ankle under, or squeeze to the side of, the pedal box.
