Hi,

does anyone have a photo of the link goes between the (left side) heater exchange and the flapper box? I think mine might be damaged..

Sorry for the bad pic, but the hose highlighted behind the half shaft is the one I think you are asking about.

Mine were torn as well and I found that the factory replacements are rather expensive.

Go to the site below (no affiliation). They sell aircraft ducting which is up to the same specks as the heater hoses on our p-cars. I have had absolutely no issues with mine even getting extremely hot here in North Carolina in the summer months. Overall its a really easy fix.

if "link" = "heat exchanger hose" (as pictured, above), then as Ian says, that's a useful, economic replacement..
3"-id hose, in 'sceet'.

Less expensive than factory replacements, but excellent.
A good place to DIY, but bring your monkey arms for some of the under-car angles you're going to endure.
It's on my car; DIY'd.

The factory replacement is 964 572 785 00.
About 61$US for one. (You probably already know this: two are on the car.)
