18" BBS LM on NB 964
I have oportunity to buy rafurbished BBS LM 18". Front is 8,5" wide ET56, rear is 10" wide, ET65. Seller told me they will fit but I am not sure. I don't want do any fenders rolling or deep modifying . Is it right size?
Another thing is is it safe to mount it on 1991 964 NB?
I know Porsche said 18" is not allowed in 964.

You need to confirm exactly WHICH model of LM you are talking about. The 8"/ET56 18" wheel is the LM099 which is fine for the front of a NB 964.
The normal rear fitment is the LM144 which is a 10" ET50 which also fits fine but I can't find any reference to a 10" wide ET65 LM wheel - the nearest is the RS-GT wheel with those dimensions, but it's not an LM. As mentioned above, the ET65 wheel will need a spacer to bring the offset down to around the 50mm mark.
Hope that helps.

Dave

I found this site:
http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp
I played a wile to compare existing cup wheels:
old FRONT: 7,5x17ET 55 225/45/17 new FRONT: 8,5x18ET 56 235/35/18- new will be 13mm shorter, 6mm closer to suspension nad 4mm closer to fenders.
old REAR: 9x17ET 55 255/40/17 new REAR: 10x18ET65 255/35/18 - new will be 7mm taller with 15 mm less clearance to suspension, not closer to fenders.
Hm...
I am not sure if it will fit. Probably yes but I have 600km to seller and I have no posiblity to go with my C4 because of two reasons: no space to take 4 wheels back and rims are without tires anyway so I can not try it and quit if it will not fit.
Another problem with tire sizes mentioned above: total of 20 mmdifferenc of tire diameter. Because it is C4 I think front/rear diameters should be the same.
Any ideas?
If someone found solution before?

I have a set of Lemans which are 8.5 fronts and 10s on rear, the 11s with an ET 65 is a bit of a push!!! If the arches on the rear were rolled, and as Dave mentioned to have spacers to push it out. Your still gunna catch if the car is low with run of the mill tires, unless (a swear word!) u stretch your tire for clearance!

Thanks Dave,
I am not sure what is BBS model number, I will try to figer it out tommorow - have to call seller.
He told me had it on his car before, using 18mm spacers in rear, no rolled fenders, no other problem.
I recive different signals: from "no problem" to "impossible to fit".
Just don't want waist money and time to 1200 km trip.

So if 43mm can hit on the inside, then 50mm sounds like a risk on the inside but at least a spacer can resolve.
40mm is a risk on the outside but at least some fender rolling can resolve.
