Default tool kit and air compressor

Just got my 91 C2 recently and it doesn't have a tool kit or compressor. I want to get the right ones so could somebody post some pics of what I need?

Thanks

Gary

Welcome Gary,

The toolkit can be purchased here.

There is a very generic photo, but upon checkout, you tell them the year and model, and they ensure you have the right set of tools. Top notch, German tools.

or also here:

The compressors can be found on eBay for ~ $100

There is an air compressor which appears to be OEM on ebay:

There is only one compressor on (US) ebay at the moment. When I was shopping in September, there were always 3-4 going at any one time. The one currently up for auction looks a little beaten up (broken plastic tabs). The one I got in Sept. for $100 was mint, like-new.

Thanks every one. There seems to be two bags. One roll up one snap.

The one I got from the UK with that link above, rolled up, then snapped closed.

Default 1991 Carrera Tool Kit had the Snaps

The 1991 Carrera 4 cabriolet tool kit had two snaps (versus the cloth ties) and more pronounced grain in the vinyl on the tool roll versus the fairy smooth vinyl and grain on the later tool roll. Based on this, I would guess in the US at least, the snap style tool roll was used until 1992.

Oddly enough, I just bought two tool kits, yet only need one. The 'right' one for me was for my 911 Carrera 3.2, but I also got one for a 964 (pronounced grain, two snaps, 964 tools, etc). Seller said this was from a 94 Turbo.

It would've cost me a decent amount to return, so I didn't bother. Then I see your post!

Let me know if you're interested. I have no photos at the moment, but can easily get those.
