Looks like 19" on super stretch. The ride's not important - that's not a go car, that is a show car. Guess it should be posted on a VW forum.

Brian's 964 is on 18s with KW Clubsports

http://vimeo.com/stanceworks/rotiform964

Its definitely a go car, not a broken car And why should it be posted in the VW Forum? When Rennlist is becoming a readers wives personal problem forum:0hehehe

BUT Frank has a point about stretched tires and a car thats very low, but each to their own.

Great LA roads I guess!

it's my car and i drive it plenty hard, but no this is not the setup i'd take it to the track on... They are 18x8.5 and 18x10 with 215/35/18 and 255/30/18 contis.

Sorry guys, off topic a little but I'd like to show you something in terms of stretched tyres and racing.

http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/ge...ing-tires.html

I totally agree that stretched tyres is wrong and dangerous, even though i go against manufacturers spec to a limit on my road car. The Germans have been doing this for a long time, but only to a point and not to an extreme of being dnagerous.

In terms of ride and handling, well its really up to the individual setting, as lowering the car with proper adjustable damping is far better than your standard road going BMW 3 (E46 or 90) series with 19" wheels, 35 profile & runflats with stiffer walls, now thats a bone shaker!

If people are that concerned and bothered about such deal, then advisably 17" Cup 1 set up with a set of Michelin Pilots is best;-) I think;-)

But the article I find interesting.

Brian - any reason you changed the wheels from the vid as they looked awesome? I would quite like to have one 964 as a show car / weekend car and another as a pure track day car.
